Healthcare providers expect personalized, on-demand scientific information, not status-quo pharma engagements that can't keep pace.
Since feeling dissatisfied with the tools (or lack thereof) available when I was an MSL, I've dedicated my career to building seamless, agile content and customer experiences that meet the highest standards. In today's chaotic landscape, this is putting HCPs and patients first.
Designing engagement where online and in-person interactions feel equally personal and build trust at every touchpoint.
Coaching teams to execute iteratively—enabling continuous value delivery while mitigating the unacknowledged risks associated with traditional "waterfall" planning.
Distilling complex evidence into compelling narratives that resonate across forums.
Advanced organizational CX maturity by scaling agile content and customer journey delivery across multiple asset teams and therapy areas. Embedded Agile/Scrum methodologies to accelerate the Medical Affairs operating model from waterfall planning to iterative execution.
Scaled engagement and insight generation across 1,000+ external experts. Bridged human and digital touchpoints to stand out in competitive launch landscapes, with omnichannel campaigns consistently gaining 2x engagement versus benchmarks. Therapy areas: Vaccines & infectious diseases, oncology, cardiovascular-renal-metabolic medicine, women's health (contraception, menopause).
Redesigned high-risk cross-functional processes (e.g., advisory board planning, sponsorship & grant fulfillment), reducing process time by >50% through user-centric, iterative development of novel digital platforms.
I'm a Toronto-based pharmaceutical industry professional, science communicator, and creative. I've always been obsessed with science and using creative ways to communicate it. After all, the most brilliant research findings can fail to make a difference if they don't resonate beyond the ivory tower.
In my earliest days as an academic researcher, I found ways to make manuscript writing a creative writing process, and to turn figure generation into a graphic design exercise. Faculty presentations weren't just an assignment—they were a chance to delight an audience with the latest science.
Wanting to break free of academia's constraints led me to my greatest passion beyond my day job: Science is a Drag. We elevate science communication through the powerful art of drag, transforming traditional STEM outreach to foster inclusive innovation. Since debuting my drag persona, Ms. Medisin, at one of our earliest shows, I've thoroughly enjoyed tapping into the promotional and brand-building side of my brain as our Brand & Creative Director. I also still find ways to perform and have fun on stage. ✨
Whether I'm building Medical Affairs strategy or choreographing a lip-sync about community health, the question is always the same: How can I make the science stick?
I'm always open to discussing Medical Affairs, the future of science communication, or collaborative experiments. Reach out if you want to pick each other's brains or chat about what's next.
